Pixeljunk 4AM Launch Trailer Makes You The Maestro

Pixeljunk 4am claims to be unlike any of the other games in the franchise, and if the below trailer is anything to go by, that's certainly true. Whether or not that's a good thing remains to be seen though. A music synthesizer of sorts, Pixeljunk 4am will put you in the shoes of a conductor, with the Playstation Move controller acting as your wand. Instead of orchestral soundtracks, you will be creating ethereal electronic soundscapes with the flick of your wrist. It's an interesting premise, but it's one that went horribly wrong in Nintendo's Wii Music, so let's hope that the team at Q got everything feeling just right.

The game also boasts a visualizer for your music, along with a two player mode. Judging from the way the single player in the video produced his soundtrack, things could get quite chaotic with two people flailing their limbs around. It'll probably take some real coordination to come up with something that doesn't sound like a bunch of electronic nonsense, but then again maybe that's the whole point.
