Where the face is that asks for the password if your looking straight at it there is a room too the left of it (it looks as though it has a passage leaving the back, ignore that) in there is a very big bookcase with the hand symbol click r1 for ps3 or however you look at things on Xbox and it's in there on a piece of paper opposite the sword rack which you can loot, the bookcase is on the wall closest to the study
