Rift authenticator not working on 3GS 3.1.3 iOS Operating System?

You need to update your phone's OS for this to function.

Sync it with iTunes and you will be presented with a popup box asking you if you would like to update. If this does not happen, then you may have disabled the popup boxes. Click on your device in iTunes, and click on the "Update" button that should appear below a picture of your device.  

 

This should solve your problem.
