SDCC 2012: Fortnite To Be First Unreal Engine 4 Game, Not Coming To Consoles

Fortnite will be the first commercial game to release using Unreal Engine 4 and will this be exclusive to PC, Epic revealed today at the San Diego Comic Con. The game's open and flexible structure simply proved too much for the relatively dated Unreal Engine 3.
For all of you console owners out there, keep in mind that Epic has a history of releasing for multiple platforms, and that UE4 will eventually be the console standard as well. Just sayin'...
