Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (whew, try saying that five times fast.) The long-overdue sequel to the original Tekken Tag will feature new fighters, new maps, and robust online play. The most exciting thing about a tag-team fighting game, though, is always the combos that skilled players can pull off by switching characters or calling in support characters at just the right time. As Marvel VS Capcom taught us, it isn't a real battle until your entire team is flying around onscreen like a bunch of living bullets, tearing the enemies up with crazy attacks. Although Tekken Tag Tournament 2 lacks some of the flash of Capcom's VS games (as it should -- Tekken has never been about the spectacle) the spirit of the tag-team battle still burns strongly with this one.

The trailer below shows off some of the awesome looking combos that utilize multiple characters in your roster. It is also quite heavy on the CG, indicating that the story and CG sequences might play a larger role in this Tournament than in the last.
