Headcrab is better because he has Super Meat Boy's shift sprint applied permanently, and he can stick to walls.

It has the ability to cling to walls without sliding down when you hold the run button.

You can also float across cielings when you are holding the run button.

He's great because he can stick to walls. Some of the levels require you to jump in tiny gaps between saws. Choosing headcrab allows you to ake it easy and concentrate instead of panicking that you're going to slide down into a saw.

He's awesome, you perma sprint everywhere and can latch to walls which makes a lot of the maps way easier

A lot of people like it because it can stick to walls without sliding down. I, however, don't really like the way it handles and prefer the original Meat Boy.

He can stick to walls. Personally, I usually use Meat Boy, but head crab is a good, easier solution to some levels.
