dragon age 2 where do I find Sandal?

I am doing the deep roads expedition quest and some dward has asked me to keep my eyes open for his son sandal who got lost where should I look?

Just progress through the level as normal. You can't miss Sandal.

You'll find him just before you go on the Dark Roads Expedition.
