It's not very likely to beat portal 2 in five hours on the first playthrough, the game is estimated to take an average player about 7-8 hours to complete the single player mode.

Completely possible. Me and my buddy from college took 6.8 hours in co-op and i'm sure on your 5th run through, you could probably do it. Good luck, if you are attempting this!

it all takes practice, you definitely can complete portal 2 in 5 hours considering that someone could finish portal 1 in 10 minutes

Very unlikely, not impossible however. If you are an expert player of the previous Portal you will very likely finish it in 6 hours, couple that with intuitive and cleverness can probably cut down another hour.

It's very possible to complete Portal 2 in 5 hours. If you were to keep practicing each and every level till you mastered it, you could possibly do it.

It is definitely possible. Especially if you played through Portal 1 and know the portal mechanics already. I beat my first playthrough in something close to 5 hours.

You can, ifyou fast, and know the levels... portal 1 can be played 30 min after the 3rd-4th playing... so i think you can finish portal 2 fast too...

I actually beat portal 2 just the other night and said "Hey, i bet i can do better!"

played thru the whole game again without getting up. died 4 times :( (FOUR TIMES TOO MANY!!!) and it took me about 4 hours...

i'm sure i can do it faster as well.  I forgot a puzzle or two in the early sections.  I'm sure my 3rd time thru would be under 3 and a half hours if not faster.

yes. My x-box has ben broken for a month but I got it back yesterday, completed it in 9 hours first try then today did a speed run that took me 3 hours and 45 minutes.

Nope I don't think you did, unless you completed it in say 8 hours, was abducted by aliens, taken back in time to be brought back to your finished game. Go and check out your body for any signs of experimentation and expect some flash backs mate. Give your head a serious wobble while your at it lol

Yes, I easily beat it in 5 hours (this is single player campaign) on my second playthrough. U just have to get a feel for the way the game thinks.
