how to unlock all characters in mortal kombat 9?

Currently your best bet is to repeatedly beat the game with a variety of characters on different game difficulty modes, also do all the additional content. Keep at it, get the replay value out of the game!

Dude, you can't pick who you want to be in the story mode. The characters are chosen for you while playing though the plot. I do know I recently unlocked Cyber Subzero, but I've seen the Emperor, Goro, Kintaro, Katana's mother ect ect ect. The story itself, "if you can beat everyone you come up against in the first try" is about 7-10 hours long. If anyone has any info on how to unlock more characters lemme know!

you all ready have kitanas mother she ıs called sindel and ı think kintaro is on the downloadable content so you have to download him but i dont know about goro.

Kintaro is not downloadable nor unlock-able. the only characters that are on the downloadable "kontent" are Freddie Crueger, Rain, Kenshi and one more that i forgot.
