how do you recruit an actor for your play in the sims medieval?

First you need to click the stage then click 'Perform Play'

After that you just left click the person you want for an actor/actress and pay them a sum

The Sim will then head towards the stage and wait for you to join him, you just click on the stage and then 'Start Play'

Make sure you have actually written the play from your desk
