How do I beat the Contrarian King in Persona 4?

Hey.

I can understand why you asked, that guy's been giving me a lot of headache before too. It's easy to beat him though, you need to be level 17, and watch out for his "Rampage" attack, because he can cause serious pain with that (and even kill the MC).

The way I beat him: I used a physical Persona, so my MC were able to resist his strong physical attacks, and everytime when somebody got hit, I had Yukiko/Yosuke cast Dia on him/her. Sometimes I even used some support spells to get down his defense, or get up ours, but when I beat him I didn't bothered with it.

I know it's not much of a tactic, but since he has no weaknesses, and sure has a lot of HP, it can't be helped. The fight will be long, so I recommend that you go with everybody's SP full, heal as fast as you can, and don't forget to buy a couple of Revival Beads (just in case). And, if you happen to find one, a Physical Mirror can be helpful too, but I don't really recommend it.

Also, if you can't beat him at your first try, don't give up, keep retrying until you kick his ass (for me the bastard took four tries).
