Installing it on my laptop at around 1 MB per second took 2-4 hours for me. Mileage may vary depending on the computer you're installing it on, and the connection strength and speed.

 

EDIT: I meant 1 MB per second, not minute.

It's a BIG file. On my connection (~400kbps) it took 3 hours.

It took me around a hour to install Civilization 5. It all depends on how fast you can write to your hard drive.

If you are installing from DVD it's around 30min. But if you are downloading from Steam, it depends on your connection.
