How do I talk to npcs in Terraria mobile

Normally, you would just be able to walk up to them and start a conversation by hitting their speech bubble.  But...

Not being able to talk to NPCs in the mobile version is a known bug.

You may be able to force it to work by restarting the game, as this doesn't occur all the time for all players.

Oh I just wanted to know how because I don't know and it seems I am affected by this bug :/

Yeah, a lot of people have been.  It's rather annoying, but like I said - you can try force-reloading the game to see if it resolves anything for you.

They are working on the bug, though, so hopefully the next update will have it fixed up for ya.  :)
