i use the robot to send out a sonic pulse, crash in, kill the bad guys, capture the dealer, triangulate his phone and then supposed to go out  on the street.

This is where the problem starts. i cant. i keep hearing some news broadcast in urdu, which is continoulsy looping but the screen is black.

ESC gets me to the ususal game menu. this audio loop is forever, but there is absolutely no vid. just a black, blank screen.

tried the usual steps, uninstall and re-instal, start the game from the mission select menu, but still no luck.

please help

It might be due to fault in computer graphics world that's not recommended for the game that makes the script working imperfectly. Glitches in a platform game may show error of invisible wall collision errors,  sprite errors, freezes, image problems, and others. 

 

So all you have to check your hardware and re-install graphics drivers can fix your problem. Also have a look to game requirements for running on PC platform and can fix your error.

 

If you are unable to fix this problem even if Graphic drivers are up-to-date. Then best and easy solution is to use Intel Software Partner Reginout.
