cant figure out how to link items to chat in rift

trying to link items in chat in Rift but dont know how?

shift left click on the item

In order to link items in chat in Rift, you must hold down the shift key and left click the item you wish to link.

When you are typing in a chat channel, hold shift and leftclick on an item.

The item name would be linked into the chat.
