World event quest with death denies exploit? rift

on Rift I got a tell from server message saying "we have disabvled the world event quest: With death denied, and the associated quest item due to an exploit. Please see the forums for more information, thanks! additionally, in preparation for the next phase of the wold event some zone events have been disabled as the Endless invade Telara!

anyone know what the exploit was?
