You can't multiple them, but you can place them on ground , or use to make mushroom meal.

Unfortunately, no. There is no way to grow more mushrooms from the ones you already have.

Yes as of update 1.6 you can grow mushrooms if it is dark enough, but it is very slow and probably not worth it compared to regular wheat crops.
