Find a village (if u have 1.0 or under 1.9 enter givemeabreak and if u have 1.2.5 or 1.2.4 then enter 666 and go to fly) make sure u have creation mode then pick lava or tnt and fire/blow THOSE HOUSES!!!

I have found it fun to have constant projects going so you never get bored and also there are plenty of mods out there on the forums like planes or invedit

Check Minecraft forums for keys to generate interesting levels. Many players find a particularly good one at random, then share it, and the entire forum discovers interesting things about it.

Explore, create huge buildings / sculptures / projects. Redstone circuits are always fun. And after all that, there's always multiplayer and downloadable puzzle levels such as Labyrinth and Escapecraft.

Minecraft is a game where anything others tell you to do is not fun. It's about creativity. It's about implementing your own ideas. I could tell you I enjoyed building a town with a subway system, but that's probably not something you would want to do.

Imagine you have a bunch of LEGO bricks, and someone else tells you 'Oh, build a spaceship now, that is so much fun'. You would build what you want to build, not what others tell you to.

I suggest building pixel art, find a favorite 8-bit videogame character and make it out of colored wool

Building huge structures or duplicating pixel characters out of colored wool is fun. Fighting monsters might be something you might like too.
