difference between Brink and Team Fortress 2?

Brink has the S.M.A.R.T (smooth movement across random terrain) movement system and TF2 uses basic movement like on Call Of Duty. you can customise weapons with up to 4 attachments (top, bottom, barrel & clip) and in TF2 you cannot. from what i have experienced brink has a campagin and TF2 in only online. BUT, when i play brink I get alot of lag.
