Depends on your personal preference, but i imagine the P.c version would be the most polished in terms of visuals, but the xbox and ps3 have better accessability i feel.

It comes down to personal preference, really. However, after trying the game on both PC and consoles, I feel like the game was designed with consoles in mind.

The fast paced combat felt kind of awkward on PC. Also, the PC is limited strictly to auto-attack, while the consoles have press to attack, with plans to add in a check box option to allow for auto-attack in the near future.

While some see this as button mashing, I ended up spending most of the game micromanaging my party. I hardly found time to button mash, and when I did it was only to kill off the last sliver of health of an enemy.

I also felt that the dialogue wheel feels much more natural on joystick instead of mouse.

It is a better looking game on PC, no doubt, but since they removed the isometric camera angle and sped up combat, I can't help but feel like console feels like the more solid edition.

If you're on the fence, I'd say you should try the demo on both.

I believe 80% of games are better on pc than on any console. You get prettier visuals, smoother framerates, better controls (with some exceptions tough), etc. You need to have a decent comp, that goes without saying, but if you can afford it, I would go for the pc version, at least is my personal preference.

I would also take in consideration how geared up your computer is. I run a fairly decent computer and the game still looked pretty good with some of the settings turned down.

But on the console you don't have to worry about that at all, it'll look beautiful.

I would say they would be nearly identical, you should go off of your personal preference.

The PC version gives you the most flexibility and the best graphics. You can use the keyboard and mouse or you can use a 360 controller on the PC. On top of that, it is smoother and there is zero comparison between the graphics -- PC simply owns consoles graphically.

PC is probobly the best, if your computer can run it.  Once users have some time to make mods, the life of the game is extended and made better.

But, console gaming also means you don't have to update your computer or worry about a lot of different errors and problems.

It is much, much better on the PC. You get many more options with camera control and a lot more hot keys that are much more easily accesible. Playing with the controller however is not supported. Because of how the PC version is set-up it will not work with the 360 controller unlike the first one. I have tried, but the PC version does have better graphics as well. Overall remember that Dragon Age is Baldur's Gate's successor. In it's heart it's a PC rpg and it definitely shows through in DA2.
