rift authenticator how do i log into my account error #2001

trying to log into rift with the new authenticator it gives me error code 2001 what do i do

The rift authenticator is here to avoid being hacked. Rift should have sent you a code to unlock this. Everytime you login with a different IP a different code will be generated. If you have a dynamic IP please go to the rift website to find a solution.

The Rift Authenticator is an app for a smartphone that generates a 8 digit number for use to log in to RIFT, the numbers are time-sensitive and follow an Algorithm that's Confidential. I believe what you are referring to is not the authenticator, but the "Coin Lock" feature.
