Dragon Age 2 can you survive without a healer in your party?

Am thinking of the following party:
Hawke (Mage)
Isabela (Rogue)
Varric (Rogue)
Aveline (Tank)
so basically its 3 damage dealers and a tank
but no healer
will i have problems beating the game with this party?

Since your Hawke is a Mage he/she can open up some of the healing options there. You can also stock up on lots and lots of health potions. I don't think there's really a 'wrong' way to play it - just plan for not having a healer and you'll do fine. My first playthrough I had Anders set as my healer, but my second time through I was a Mage and did all the healing myself (plus lots of potions).

No, you will fail utterly. You shoudl quit this game and play "Connect 4" or "Yahtzee" to better reflect your intelligence.

I prefer no healer when I play. In some instances I'll grab Anders, but that's when fighting the High Dragon because I needed some form of healing between potions. Painful!!
Also, if Hawke's a mage you could incorporate some small healing, too.

It is possible, but it will be tricky. The normal healing skill from a mage can be replaced by a simple healing potion. However, the group heal is invaluable.
If you're going to forgo the spirit healer specialization, I would focus on the Entropy and Spirit trees for crowd control. Also, both of your rogues should have the upgraded Miasmic Flask for disabling small groups. Just focus fire your way through small groups while disabling those around you.
Also, this game is very nice for kiting methods. If you have Aveline learn Battle Synergy and the two improvements, then you can basically run the enemies around in a circle while your group takes them out. This will definitely reduce the need for a healer.

Yea, but it would be pretty hard. Unless your playing on easy.
