In Dragon Age II which rune should I put on my staff?

I think the best runes to socket into staff weapons in Dragon Age 2 is the Rune of Devistation and the Primevil Lyrium Runes.

One of the most important things for mages is to be able to shoot off spells as quickly as possible, and the Lyrium Runes make that happen. The Devistation rune just increases damage.
