how do you change your pet's name in wow?

is there a way to change your pet's name in world of warcraft?

You need to buy a Certificate of ownership (http://www.wowhead.com/item=43850) ,from the auctionhouse or from someone who was inscription.

1. Right click pet's portrait

2. Select Rename pet

you can only do this once though using this method, otherwise use the certificat of ownership as anonymous answered

Simply right click on your pets name and select rename pet.

All you have to do is right click your pet's status bar and click the rename option
