will ATI HD5970 run skyrim?

anyone know if ATI HD 5970 is good for elder scrolls V Skyrim

I think it will be able to run near smoothly at max settings, perhaps not with 100% perfect fps. I am also running a HD 5970 on one of my rigs, and it can run most modern games at max. GTA IV was the only game I had issues with, but that was more compatibility then performance. Also i don't even think skyrim is running more then dx9 (correct me if I'm wrong) so its not demanding the highest quality at the moment, though it will still demand enough. All in all it should run fine. Im goin back to studying for my exams while I still can, untill tomorrow when skyrim comes out ;)
