Its kind of long a specific but you know how on steam under bundles now they have the 2 copies of portal 2 and the whole basis is to keep one and give one to a friend? Can I keep one on my PC and give the other to my friend who uses the PS3?

Whilst the PS3 does now have the Steam store, it does not have the full features of Steam for PC so at present you are not able to redeem PC versions of games on the PS3 platform.

The PS3 doesn't have access to the Steam store, it's just that the PS3 version of Portal 2 supports steam features. So the disk has the Steam support on it, not the console.

Steam is only for computers - PC and Mac systems

No, the bundled versions are PC only so your friend would have to play it on his PC as well.

I don't think you can, but it may be implemented in future updates, Steam has only recently been incorporated into the Playstation Network.

Nope, the only way to play Portal 2 on the PS3 is to buy the retail disc.

Your friend would have to be using the PC to get your gift.

You can't give to PS3 owners. They need to play from a disc.

The free copy is only for PC owners.
