minecraft where is server.properties?

Best answer
Go "Run" on your computer, type in "%appdata%" and then go to .minecraft server. It should be right there.

The server needs to be run once first to make all the files it uses for confiugration. After you have run it once, the server.properties file will be in the same directory as the server.
