The Witcher Season 3 Ep 3, “Reunion” Review

“Geralt seeks magical help from a family friend as Ciri and Yennefer clash over plans for the future. Philippa and Dijkstra scheme to keep Vizimir in line.”

Ciri and Yennefer continue toward Aretuza while Geralt looks to unravel the mysteries of the girl he's found. Both look to their past for their questing, but the reality is very harsh for Ciri and Yennefer. Geralt gets some answers. Lots of spoilers throughout the article!

The Witcher Season 3 Ep 2 “Unbound” Review

The party has split apart and we've got people hunting their targets and safety. Ciri and Yennefer head for Aretuza for safety (and training). So, spoilers throughout the whole article. I'm not going to try to obscure anything. Go over what's happened and what could happen in the future.

First Impressions: Diablo 4

Here we are at the end of the first Diablo 4 Beta Weekend. Along with all the fun that was had, there was discussion of the game itself. What did we like, what didn't we like (or was the Beta), and what we'd like to see either added or come back to the game.

The Last of Us Ep 6 “Kin” Review

“After ignoring the advice of locals, Joel and Ellie descend deeper into dangerous territory in search for Fireflies – and Tommy.”

The Last of Us delves ever deeper into the idea of family in this episode. We continue on the theme of brothers, and also get back into parents & children with a heart-wrenching scene taken straight from the game. And that's before we get to the cliffhanger ending.

The Last of Us Ep 5 “Endure and Survive” Review

“While attempting to evade the rebels, Joel and Ellie cross paths with the most wanted man in Kansas City. Kathleen continues her hunt.”

The Last of Us Ep 3 “Long, Long Time” Review

“When a stranger approaches his compound, survivalist Bill forges an unlikely connection. Later, Joe and Ellie seek Bill's guidance.”

This is the rarest kind of episode you tend to get in a zombie show like "The Last of Us." A slower episode, showing us a different sort life that some could have had after the Cordeceps Outbreak.

Call it what you will, it gives a lot more to character who only got a little time in the game, flushing them out and given us a better grasp of who they are and why they would help Joel and Tess.

The Last of Us “Infected” Review

Onto Episode 2 of the Last of Us, with "Infected." Joel, Tess, and Ellie start on their way to the Fireflies.

The Last of Us Ep 1, “When You're Lost in the Dark” Review

The Witcher: Blood Origin “Of Ballads, Brawlers, and Bloodied Blades" Review

“A tavern brawl puts Eile on a collision course with destiny, emotions get the best of Fjall after a close call, and a royal betrayal leads to bloodshed.”

Sometimes, you just need some time before getting back to series reviews. And sometimes they just fall into your lap and it's going to be something you like a lot. Until I looked, I thought that Blood Origin was a movie made by Netflix, like Nightmare of the Wolf. Instead, I found a limited series waiting for me. Here are our thoughts on the first episode of the new series.

Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunner Ep 10, "My Moon My Man" Review

"On the edge of cyberpsychosis but dertermined to save Lucy, David storms into Night City as Arasaka plots to deploy their ultimate lethal weapon."

David's on the edge of sanity, Lucy is held captive by Faraday to be delivered to Arasaka, her worst nightmare brought into reality. Time for some final thoughts on the series as it closes this story.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners Ep 9 “Humanity” Review

“Lucy's captors learn about her secret mission and dark past. David and his team head out to complete Faraday's job but realize that something is off.”

The penultimate episode. Lucy's past is only a few steps behind her now. David doesn't know what he's about to step into. The giant maw is in front of both of them. It really is a question of who’s going to fall into it. We share our thoughts as the end approaches.
