It's shaping up to be a surprisingly crowded May. Earlier this week Sony released Starhawk to critical and fan acclaim (check out our review here.) Gamers will barely have enough time to recover before Max Payne 3, A Game of Thrones, and... uh, Battleship touch down next week. The former has received a launch trailer, and we've embedded it for you below. 

If you were worried that Rockstar's developer status might tarnish the franchise you once loved (Remedy used to develop the franchise, but they're busy with Alan Wake now) this trailer might serve to reassure you. The game still looks incredibly gritty, and Max still looks pretty bummed out and beat up. The recovering alcoholic and painkiller-addict will have to travel to Sao Paulo, Brazil in order to rescue a client's daughter from the hands of vicious gangsters.
