when is minecraft 1.9 coming out?

Since Minecraft 1.8 just recently came out, and the developers are looking for good ideas that wouldnt take away that original and loveable minecraft feel, i would have to say about another 5 months or so. But the full game is coming out so You have that to look forward to. Follow Notch on Twitter and keep an eye out for a hint!

The full version is NOT coming out in November. It is not even ready for such a thing. Saying its coming out in November is like saying that skyrim is coming out 24/2/2838754395739394674390764.

ok i fucking got it. I know, i didnt mention a prototype. BETA doesnt mean prototype. I know that its not coming out right now but it was confirmed that Notch would have the full version of minecraft playable at minecon >_> obviously its not the COMPLETE full version. Minecraft is in its BETA state. I understand that. I understand that NOTCH DID NOT POST ANYTHING SO EARLY IN THE MORNING WHICH IS WHEN I POSTED THIS. Plus i never mentioned november. lol very interesting convo :) to the guy talking about memorizing the wiki, there is a big difference to memorizing the wiki and knowing the items/biomes etc... Most minecraft players know the items/biomes, few people can tell you how long it takes to grow sugarcane exactly. Few people come up with the amazing designs such as automatic farms, and so on...

So, 1.9 would have to come BEFORE 2.0.
