minecraft 1.9 release date?

1.8 was the last update for BETA. The full game is coming out some time after october. Minecon will have stations where you can play the full game. The full game is still under construction but it might take a while. I suggest you wait till February. If it doesnt come before the end of february, then you can bet theres a lot that will be added to the game!

Hey! The pre release is out! I really didnt know that they would surprise us with it! Mooshrooms, NPCs, snow golems, 2 new mobs, nether castles, etc. Check it out!

and also mushroom biomes! They are pretty rare, but no mobs (other than mooshroom) can spawn!
