When someone does something that misleads you into thinking something about something, or plays in a overtly stupid or silly manner to throw a game. A good example is when you look up trailers on Dead Island, and you find one called "Dead Island Ingame Video". The video then has a picture of a zombie and some of Rick Astleys music plays.

Trolling is when you make an obviously wrong statement, or give an obviously incorrect answer, just to get a rise out of people and make them angry. For example, if you did know what a troll was, and asked this question, then continued to ask what a troll was, you could be considered a troll yourself.

A troll is someone who deliberately manipulates people into being angry or upset about something. Some trolls are much more subtle than others, and some genuine comments or actions are called out as trolling attempts.

Trolling is when a person does something or says something (most likely incorrect) in order to generate a response.

For example, if a troll knows someone's particularly anal about grammar, the troll might specifically mix up the usage of "they're", "their", and "there" just to annoy that person
