Follow these steps:

Options > Keyboard > Advanced > Tick the box that enables developer console > Press the tilde (~) key to open console.

go into options then keyboard then click advanced options then click developer console then click the tilde key ` below the escape key

Press the Tilde key (~) to open up the console. Console will open only if you had enabled it via the advanced tab as said above by gameshampoo users. :)

Go in the settings and select "enable console" and then press ~ to bring it up.

As with all Valve games, enable developer console then press ~

in the options is a box to check to enable it. once enabled be careful to not imput commands that could make the game run poorly on your pc.

If you look in the Settings under Keyboard, then Advanced, you will find a box that says something like "Developer Console". Check that box, then get in game and press the Tilde (~) Key to activate the Console.
