Why is there no weather on Minecraft after the patch?

I played on my save for over an hour and no weather. Whats wrong?

It comes around randomly. Don't expect to find it all the time otherwise that'd be quite annoying of Notch.

The weather is also different based on the biome you're in. So if you're in, say a dessert area, try moving to an icey snowy area.

Other than that, patience is the key.

Just like finding wolves, you'll have to be patient. And, just like wolves, once you see it a couple times, it'll become normal. :)

Weather doesn't appear in every single square of every single world, you have to find it in a specific location at a certain time. Just be patient, explore your world and eventually you should find some sort of weather in your game.

Supposely weather is supposed to be sort of rare so it may take awhile also if your on desert i don't believe there is any weather there

Its supposed to be pretty rare, but when it comes around its pretty cool! Apparently in thunderstorms its dark enough to spawn mobs!
