is portal 2 worth it?

I'd say yes, mostly if you enjoyed the first Portal or if you like puzzle gmaes in general. However, as the previous answerers have said, there is a high chance that it will go on sale in a few months so if you're not a huge Portal fan (the "I have to have it now" kind) then you can probably wait a little bit to save a few bucks.

If you enjoy puzzle games and humerous dialogue, then this is the game for you.

Especially if you loved Portal 1. This is a COMPLETE Portal game. It has a great coop mutliplayer with tricky puzzles, and a single player mode that puts the first game to shame.

It is worth it for the right price. Personally I never buy games on day one as most games are never worth the $60 price tag. I say wait and read some reviews, see how the game will take to beat and weigh that against the cost. The first Portal took me four hours to beat, not saying the second one will be that short but you never know.

At the moment, no, it is not worth it. I bought the two player pack for $80, which gave me and my bro both copies of Portal and Portal 2. So, I think that $40 was worth it. Like others have said, I would wait until it goes on sale. It's not worth it for a $50 just for Portal 2 alone.

Definitely. Portal 1 and 2 did not receive so many accolades for nothing.

It's a unique blend of challenge and fun.

And the extensive features in Portal 2 just adds to its value especially the co-op play.

No-brainer. Yes. The first one was awesome and had me wanting so much more!

Portal 2 will end that craving. The puzzles are challenging and I think it should be a bit cheaper. Just wait for a sale or something.
