It is possible to kite certain bosses around the map.

Ragnarok and Omega can be kited all over the place. I'm not sure about Vielle and Masterius, though, since they're such a rare spawn. And the fact that they're going to be surrounded by asmodians / elyos who are protecting them and pvping those who come to kill them.

Fort Bosses, however, can be kited around inside the fort and this is the greatest visual example ever:

I'm not 100% sure about this but I'm pretty sure that it's not allowed, once you get to a certain range they should turn back to their spawn and start regening health.

Yes. You can kite the more powerful bosses. However weaker enemies will eventually break off their attack.

Actually, all enemies will eventually break off attack. The deciding factor seems to be whether or not you are attacked within a certain time-frame of the last attack.

For instance, you can drag something far, far away if you stop once in a while to let it hit you, OR you turn around and hit it. This is how SM's and Rangers pull for soloing elites. They link with mobs around them, but the other mobs reset except for the one you're attacking.
That makes sense. It would explain why bosses are "easier" to kite - they hit you more and so don't end up ever breaking off.
