which race is better in Rift, the Defiant or the Guardians?

I personally prefer the Defiants because of of how their side is less of a good vs evil and more of a tech vs magic of the Guardians and their gods. The guardian storyline does look like they had more work put into it though, which is sad. Starting out in the game I prefered the Defiant side as it was more fun early on.

There are questions about which race has more players, but without specific numbers I would say check the population and see.

Both of them have their own benefits, but in the end they are relatively the same skillwise, but early on due to quests it is easier for Defiants. Later on it is easier for Guardians.
