Is there ANYTHING i can do to attract creepers to me? (i need some more gunpowder)

As the other comment said, stand in the dark. Also you can make drown traps (check on youtube for some simple ones if you dont have many materials) that kill all mobs and will sometimes get you gunpowder. Also keep your eye out for spawners. i have never seen a creeper spawner, but if you do, mark it and get tons of arrows and a bow ;). Last but not least, search caves. Get the dynamic lighting mod, which can help you navigate through caves, while also letting mobs spawn. Only try the last one if you can survive and have plenty of food, armour and resources
