Here's what you need to do:

First, make sure your game is updated to the newest version.

The next step is to edit the commands.ini file. It's located at: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims Medieval\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Ini

There's a line that says "TestingCheatsEnabled=0" change the 0 to a 1 and save the file. This enables the ability to use any cheat.

Now, when in game press "Ctrl+Shift+C" this will bring up the cheat prompt. Type in "setkingdompoints #" or "setkp #" replacing "#" with the number that you want and enjoy!
