borderlands 2 what does the monstrous volcano do?

Aside from a LUDICROUSLY high burn chance, it has spash damage. If other mobs are close enough to your target, they have a chance of being ignited aswell. Its a handy effect, but personally i despise maliwan weapons because of their low rate of fire and high recoil.
