assassin's creed 3 free captives and kill general?

kill the guard next to the non-freeable prison.  go and hide when you kill him and watch as the soldiers come and investigate.  they will all leave with just the general walking around.  as he is walking away from you,get behind the boxes next to the left of the prisoner.  as the general walks up to you, kill him from the side.
