Some servers have a list of people who are allowed to join a server. This is so people who got banned can not easily join the server again.

not being whitelisted means that you are not on this list yet. If you want to be, try pming the owner of the server.

basically the admins of the server can make it andatory to be on a list they create in order to gain access. the not whitelisted means they haven't put you on that list.

White lists serve to limit who is able to join a specific server. Some servers require you to register, some are only for a close group of people, and some are "premium" (pay to join).

A Whitelist is a list of people who are allowed to play on a Minecraft server, so if you try to join a server you aren't whitelisted for you will receive an error. To get whitelisted, you either have to know one of the admins/operators very well, or join their forums or website.

You are not recognized as allowed on the server the whitelist is like the party list who ever is on it is allowed otherwise you have to be invited or accepted in

it said i was white listed on a server but i have joined and played for a while it could mean that you are "not on the list" wich means there is a list on who can/can't join the sever but i wasnt kicked and its an open server "anyone can join" and so i just checked and the sever is not online so dont freak or delete the server if you are whitelisted it MAY just be ofline
