is there a 2 child limit for the queen in sims medieval

i hear its a limit of 2 for married sims, and a limit of 3 for unmarried sims. im trying to find the real answer for myself, however, considering my unmarried wizard seems to be limited to 4. Actually, i have a theory for that. Maybe my sim got preggos before the third child actually grew up...
