finished THE FALLEN IDOL traffic case with FIVE STARS

and got PROMOTED to homicide desk central police station division 1

but it still says on the case notes "Reaching the apartment earlier would have meant a chance to give McAfee's goons what for."

what does it mean? did i miss something in the case? i went to biship's apartment as soon as i could right after overhearing june ballard on the phone should i have gone even earlier it tole me to tail june ballard and thats what i did?
