is it possible to get the mass effect 3 ending where shepard lives if you give the collector base to the illusive man?

Unfortunately, he doesn't survive if you give the Collector Base to the Illusive Man, meaning that you have to Control the Reapers with a low EMS. It is possible that Shepard may survive if you have a high EMS enough to Destroy the Reapers though.
