You can't "press" any button. Shiny pokemon appear at very low encounter rates. There is no "cheat" to obtain, unless you are using action replay.

There is no button pressing to get a shiny, they are just hard to catch.

there is no button sequence unless ur like me and have an action replay dsi card. the odds of just finding one are very poor

Well, you don't press any buttons. You will just rarely but randomly find them in the tall grass. I only found one shiny last year. But I use dns codes to get all of my shinies.
