crysis 2 weapon attachments/armour modules

Question

In online multiplayer:

With weapon attachments, after you unlock one, why can't you keep it?

it seems like I changed one, and now I have to RE-unlock the one I had before!

Why is this? Same question for the armour modules too! :S

Its just an overal glitch with the PC version of the game. They should fix it anytime now...hopefully... annoying i know.
