If you are talking about lockpicks, then it is just generally trial and error. you spin the black lockpick on its axis. here are the steps:

1. Try any random place on the keyhole, if it doesnt turn try some where else

2. Then go around slowly to find the sweetspot (where it begins to turn)

3, Once you've got the sweetspot slowly open the keyhole

Note: If your turning it and it shakes midway, simply tweak it a little and try again.
