Is the regular Half-Life or the Source version better?

the source one is not much better, the only significance change is the water.  Its not worth it cuz you can get the expansions for regular one but not the source one.

Source version has slightly improved graphics. But I heard the difference is negligible.

And the non-Source version works with Garry's Mod if I am not wrong.

There's not really a difference between them. If you want better graphics, go source.

Regular Half life since you can play mods for it unlike the source version.

The physics of the source engine have made a significant improvement in certain areas of the game, however the Half-Life series is much more about story and gameplay than graphics and physics and as such the non-source version is just as enjoyable to play.

I guess Half-Life Source is better because of better graphics, physics and I guess there is more maps.
