dragon age ii do i really need a healer?

as long as you are not playing the nightmare difficulty, you might be able to get by without a healer. Make sure you have first aid kits all the time and focus on doing lots of damage so that you can kill enemies fast before they kill you. Maybe have 2 AOE mages and a tank
